Eric S. Gardner

Eric S. Gardner, Jr. is a Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Trial Law. A Board Certified Specialist is an attorney who has been evaluated for professionalism and tested for expertise by the Florida Bar. Only 7% of attorneys in Florida are board certified in any field of law, and less than 1% are board certified in criminal trial law. Eric earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in 2004 and his juris doctorate from Florida State University in 2006. He practiced as a criminal defense attorney with the Tenth Circuit Public Defender's Office for 15 years dealing with all kinds of cases from misdemeanor charges to murder charges including numerous jury trials. He was sworn in as a member of the Florida Bar in 2007 and is currently a member of the Lakeland Bar Association, the Polk Association for Women Lawyers, and the Willson American Inn of Court. He is also liscenced to practice in the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida.
